"Through the Spaces She Left" is an installation with a video performance that reflects on my relationship with my mom, exploring the wounds and patterns passed down through generations. The piece examines how both love and emotional absence have shaped my sense of self. The installation features a white screen to symbolize the separation between us, with ashes representing the release of past pain. A soundscape guides me and my mom through our shared healing process, aiming to transform old wounds and foster a deeper connection, breaking the emotional distance between us.
